3rd Annual Lake to Lake Paddle Challenge Coming this August!

Mercer County is excited to announce the 3rd Annual Lake to Lake Paddle Challenge coming August 24th! This event is a timed paddle craft challenge for all skill levels, offering you the chance to explore the stunning scenery of Mercer County, PA, while fulfilling your passion for sports and competing for cash prizes of over $7,000.
If you’re looking for a fun and thrilling way to spend the day out on the water, look no further!

This event is held on the class 1 Shenango River Water Trail, where guaranteed water release at Pymatuning Dam will help create ideal paddle conditions. A post-challenge awards ceremony with food and refreshment vendors will be offered at the Finish Line. Competitors have the choice between two races:

The 30 Mile Challenge – Competitive Class
The 15 Mile Challenge – Adventure Class

The 30-Mile Challenge Competitive Class starts at 9:00 a.m. at Pymatuning State Park and will finish at the NorthStar Marina on the Shenango River Lake. There is no Day of Registration for the 30 Mile Challenge; pre-registration is required.

The 15-Mile Challenge has two divisions, a single-or tandem adventure. The race kicks off at 11:00 AM by the Kidd’s Mill Covered Bridge and ends at the scenic NorthStar Marina.
